Lera Ost was born and raised in Ukraine. Lera received a Master's degree in fine arts and has worked in various fields, from curating exhibitions to creating individual projects for private and commercial spaces.

In her paintings and sculptures, Lera explores the concept of metamorphosis through fear, hope and the search for meaning. Her style is characterised by dark aesthetics, precision detail and bold colour schemes. In addition, she skilfully works with eco-friendly materials and innovative techniques, including the use of ultra-black Vantablack paint.

In 2024, Lera Ost moved to the Netherlands, where she found new inspiration in the country's creative atmosphere. Here, she continues to work on large-scale projects, including a series of paintings, sculptures, and exhibitions aimed at rethinking the themes of addiction, fear, and freedom.
